St. Peter's Choir will be performing 'Carols by Candlelight' in the church to help raise money for the Mayor's Charities. Tickets are £12.00 (adults) and £10.00 (concessions) and can be purchased on the night. This also includes refreshments afterwards in the Parish Centre.

As you know, Leamington Spa is the home of the National Bowls Championships. So for the first time we will be holding a Bowls evening in Victoria Park. Bowls is simple to play and a lot of fun. The cost is £4.00 for Adults and £2.00 Concessions. Flat trainers need to be worn on the Greens. Food and drink is also available at the Cricketers Pub across the road. If you would like to come along, please put your name down on the noticeboard in the church porch. If you would like a meal afterwards please indicate on the sheet.

This is a FREE 45 minute seminar to show the practical application of Aquinas' thoughts to our individual and internal problems. Please come along to find out more.
18.02.2011 - Day of Prayer for Vocations
Time: 1:00pm
Location: Main Hall, Parish Centre
After a special Mass at 12:30pm there will be soup and a prayer in the Parish Centre, followed by a showing of two films. The Diocesan short film on vocations to the priesthood and a second film "No Greater Love". This is a lovely documentary film which is a liturgical year in the life of the Carmelite Sisters who live in an enclosed silent community in Notting Hill. There will be tea and cakes afterwards. Fr. John and Fr. Roger will sing the Evening Prayer at 6:00pm and following another hour of Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament; our day will end at 7:00pm with Night Prayer and the final anthem of the Salve Regina.

The film showing will be "No Greater Love" (2009) a documentary by Michael Whyte about the closed order of the Carmelite Monastery of the Most Holy Trinity in London's Notting Hill. The film gives a unique insight into a world of prayer and contemplation away from the materialism of contemporary society and explores what it means to live a life of faith. All Parishioners are welcome. Entry is 50p.

This is a new inclusive project by the Hand in Hand Group. There will be a showing of a Hand in Hand DVD produced by the Arundel and Brighton Diocese. This well established group offers a way of praying using symbol, dance and sign for adults; whatever their level of communication or learning ability. If enough people are interested across the Deanery Parishes, Julia Fitzsimons and Mary Holden aim to set up a group in the Warwick Deanery. So, please come along and find out more.

The Royal Leamington Spa Bach Choir will be performing a collection of festive music conducted by Nigel Stark and organ played by Colin Druce. Location: Newbold Comyn Leisure Centre - Swimming
The Parish Youth Group is run by Fr. Roger Peck and a team of parishioners. The target age for members is School Year 6 & 7 (10 years - 12 years old). The group meet every 1st & 3rd Monday of the month at the Parish Centre, unless on an outing, which they meet at the chosen venue. Every member has to pay £2.00 to cover the cost of running the group. For more information please contact the Presbytery Office on 01926 423824 and speak to Fr. Roger. Thank you.

Archbishop Nichols has endorsed it as a "...remarkable re-telling of
the story of Fatima". There are 100 free places; please sign the list
by the statue of St. Anthony to book your place next time your at Mass.

30.10.2010 - A Day of Recollection for All Eucharistic Ministers

This is a special day for all Eucharistic Ministers, a chance to renew your understanding of the Holy Sacrament that you give to others. The day will begin at 10.30am. Canon John Redford from Maryvale Institute will be speaking to us. There will be a shared lunch (so please bring something to share) and Exposition. This day is for our many parish Eucharistic Ministers. We have nearly 80. Please let me know if you are not able to attend. There is a list at the back of the church to put your name down if you are attending to go. All Eucharistic Ministers are advised to attend.
